If you have a choice to make but are not sure what the best option is, here’s a method that can help to give clarity: the chair method. This is how it goes.
- Place chairs before you for the options in choices you have (2 or more).
- Decide which chair represents which choice.
- Feel which chair you feel drawn to to sit in as the first option. Walk to the chair and consciously sit down on it. You’re now sitting in the energy of this option. This means your ego can’t interfere. What you’re experiencing is purely feelings and your intuition about this option. Observe what you’re feeling. You can ask your heart a message for you about this option.
- After you’ve felt all options by sitting in all chairs, stand before them and compare your feelings of every chair. There will be 1 chair that stands out by an excited or peaceful feeling. That’s the best option for you. Every chair that gives an anxiety or stress feeling is not a good option.
Hopefully the chair method gave you confirmation of what you deep down already knew but what your ego was trying to mess around with. Your ego is based on your past experiences and is trying to prevent you from taking risks cause you could fail. It’s always approaching everything in life from fear. Your soul at the other hand, wants you to try new things, to explore, to learn, to go outside your comfort zone and to move forward. You could think: I might be afraid to do it, but I’m going to do it anyway!
